Key Focus Areas
Decoupling Defense and Space
PSI advocates for the separation of military and defense interests from space activities. By fostering dialogue among nations and stakeholders, PSI aims to establish guidelines and agreements that promote the peaceful use of space for scientific, commercial, and humanitarian purposes. It also aims to chart a path forward for reframing the concept of "dual use" and its resulting limitations in the space industry.
Space Technology Control
Recognizing the importance of responsible technology development and usage in space, PSI aims to engage with governments, space agencies, and private entities to establish guidelines for the responsible control and dissemination of space-related technologies. Demilitarization of Space
